The Sheriff’s Office staffing is structured into five divisions with 64 full-time and ten part-time employees. The Sheriff’s Office has a Chief Deputy, two Captains and three Lieutenants.
Some of the duties performed include:
- Process approximately 1,400 papers ordered by the court
- Provide counter service
- Case Management Process
- File all Sheriff’s records and reports
- Prepare all claims
- Provide accounting of paper fees
- Provide accounting of jail fees
- Warrant Service
- Gun Permit service
- Vehicle inspection service
- Sexual offender registration service
